Atlanta police have identified the suspect in the shooting death of Waka Flocka Flame associate Slim Dunkin. An arrest warrant has been issued for a 28-year-old rapper named Young Vito (born Vinson Hardimon). Authorities are urging the rapper to turn himself in because they believe that he might be in danger.
According to police, Dunkin was shot and killed Friday night (Dec. 16), allegedly by Vito, during an argument over a piece of candy. “We want to reach out to Young Vito, Vinson Hardimon, to come holla at us," said Detective David Quinn who is investigating the case.
A funeral service for Dunkin will be held today (Dec. 23) at Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain, Ga. His final burial will take place at Hillandale Memorial Gardens in Lithonia.
On Thursday night (Dec. 22), Dunkin's friends and family, including Waka and Wooh Da Kid, paid their respects at a viewing for the late rapper. Dunkin was Waka's close friend who appeared on Gucci Mane and Waka's mixtape 'Ferrari Boyz,' which was released this past summer.
