Hollidaysburg woman arrested for selling drugs to undercover officer

A 54-year-old Hollidaysburg woman has been charged after she allegedly sold drugs to an undercover police officer.

According to a probable-cause affidavit, Jacqueline Barnett, Old Route 22, first sold $800 worth of methamphetamine and heroin to the officer on March 18 in Alleghany Township.

According to the affidavit, Barnett sold 17.5 grams of meth to the officer on April 21 and nearly three ounces of meth on May 2.

After the May 2 buy at Barnett’s residence, state police arrested her.

Barnett has been charged with multiple offenses, including three felony counts of drug possession and five third-degree felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility.

She was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Paula M. Aigner, of Hollidaysburg, and was sent to the Blair County Prison in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Aug. 15 before Aigner.
