The companions in Baldur’s Gate III often don’t get along with one another. This is because every recruitable companion in the game has their own sets of beliefs and moral convictions. For example, Lae’zel dislikes diplomacy and prefers straightforward and violent solutions to most problems you encounter. Since they have such strong personalities, it’s inevitable that confilcts will occur. These are necessary for their respective character arcs. Though, sometimes, these can bug out. This is the case with the Karlach and Wyll camp confrontation scene that is not triggering for some players. So is there anything that you can do to fix this BG3 Karlach and Wyll issue and avoid a party problem? Thankfully, there is, so here’s the solution to this bothersome bug.
BG3 Karlach and Wyll Issue FixOnce you have met Karlach and gotten her into your party, she is supposed to have a big confrontation with Wyll back at the camp. This only happens if Wyll wasn’t present when you first talked to Karlach, since they would have this conflict then. Regardless, once you bring Karlach to the camp, Wyll is going to have a big exclamation mark above his head, indicating that he wants to talk to her. But no matter what you do, you can’t get them to interact with one another and get this conflict to resolve. So what can you do to fix this?
';document.getElementById("serge_5f895c6208f81a315320ec57").style.display = "block"; }The solution is actually pretty simple. All that you need to do here is to intitiate a long rest. This should cause the conflict scene to play out as it should, and Karlach and Wyll to start arguing. You can either calm them down, or attack either Wyll or Karlach. Of course, doing this will mean that you are out of a companion, so it’s not recommended that you kill either one.
